Where do I start with this Tangle Creek Wedding story?
Melissa and Justin are 2 of the funnest people a photographer could ever dream of working with.
I got to know them a fair bit in the planning stages, through our winter engagement shoot, and meetings, oh and Justin fixed my iphone 5s, so he’s hands down one of the most awesome people ever.
There is no shortage of smiles, spark and adoration between the 2 of them, and for Charlotte, their sweet little girl.
Charlotte had just undergone a surgery just a couple of weeks before the wedding, which as a parent of a toddler who is also about to have surgery a few months from now, I can imagine just how stressful this would be on top of the usual wedding planning.
Luckily Charlotte was as good as new before the wedding and was charming guests and family more than ever!
To say it was a well coordinated day woudl be an understatement. The incredibly talented Brianna Morrison of Status Events made sure the day went seemless, that everyone looked their best, and all went according to schedule. It was such a treat working with a planner, a first for me. Im going to have to make a dedicated post to the benefits of having a professional coordinator – people, I cant tell you enough, if you’re reading this and in the process of wedding planning, a professional planner is worth their weight in gold.
The couple opted for a Friday evening ceremony, on the lawn at Tangle Creek. The weather was spectacular, warm and sunny. The guests were cheery and relaxed. The ceremony, conducted by Mr. Glenn Eagle, was probably one the fastest Ive ever witnessed; getting guests off to the coctail reception in a timely manner!
After family photos the bridal party got to celebrating! This group was a hoot! There was no shortage of photo opportunities with them, they really know how to have fun.
Tangle Creek has no shortage of romantic photo locations, so once we got Melissa & Justin alone, we captured the couples true spirit, a few of their first kisses as husband and wife during the last kiss of golden hour.
They were greeted by family and friends after their grand entrance and first dance, which they wowed everyone with their awesome moves!
It was quite the party – and much love was shared. It’s quite evident that Melissa & Justin will be very happy together, and I wish them all the very best!
The girls made custom hangers with everyones name on them 🙂
A first look with Dad.
And a first look with the girls.
Through laughter and (happy) tears – couldnt ask for a better start to a marriage.
Melissa told me recently that she loves my blog posts and has read every single one, which completely made my day, so I really wanted to make this one special for her.
For all those reading, please give Melissa & Justin some love in the comment section below.
