Lori & James – A Grand Valley Wedding
I first met Lori for tea at Mrs Mitchell’s in Primrose. It’s a favourite place of mine and I couldn’t possibly have known that Lori grew up in Primrose, knowing the managers/owners of the restaurant and Heidi’s Room – a fabulous gift and home decor boutique on the same property.
We connected immediately, and turns out we had other mutual friends, including a very dear friend of mine that will always hold a special place in my heart. The common thread: All these people are genuinely warm hearted people; that make this world a better place. My kinda people.
In light of trying to keep this post not so wordy like usual, I’ll wrap this up and share some photos – I know some of you have been waiting on these, but first I have to say a little something about the venue:
Lori and James visioned getting married on their property and when I arrived for their engagement session I couldnt believe how much progess they’d made!!! They build and grew an amazing floral garden, which was no easy task with the hot, dry summer we had; but I have to say, I was BLOWN AWAY by what they did with their barn.
The work they put in what an expectional example of what people are capable of. When you set your mind to something, and but your heart into it… anything is possible!
Funny enough, marriage is a little like that too <3
Congrats Lori & James, and thank you for having me as your photographer. I truly felt like one of the family.
