Intimate Wedding Photography Inspo
Back in the fall I put together this boho forest intimate wedding or elopement inspiration shoot with some amazing vendors. We planned the shoot right around the corner from my house to prove you can have a beautiful wedding anywhere.
Intimate weddings and elopements are becoming more popular – and for good reasons.
- Couples who opt to have an intimate wedding reap the benefits of having more time to spend with their guests since there are fewer of them, and more time to enjoy their celebration, and each other. Their focus is immediate family and super close friends, and their careful not to let the guest list grow. (approx 20 people, give or take a few guests)
- Couples who opt to elope (and that doesn’t necessarily mean run off together in the night to Vegas) are really often doing it to be quick about it, not have a large ceremony (like 10 minutes covers everything with I’s dotted and T’s crossed), but they typically want a decent portrait session and in fact that’s often their main priority. They’re planning everything in a short time, and getting it done. You, your love and the lamp post (ok, plus 2 witnesses).
I wont cover all the ins and outs on each, but feel free to contact me for more info!
This is the Intimate Wedding or Elopement Inspiration that I’m proud was featured on the Wedding Co Blog. Check it out here 🙂
Heres a few of my faves shots
Love these stamped vintage forks. And cheesecake with mini cheesecakes? Yes and yes.
Beads, feathers, denim. Sigh.
How stunning is this sheer lace and beaded bodice, and billowy tulle skirt (insert heart eyes here)
I loved the casual Classic Rock/Festival vibes of this shoot while still being eleagant and romantic, but you could totally elope or have an intimate wedding in whatever style you envision.
Id love to hear the details of your intimate wedding! Send me an email or leave a comment below!

Also a good idea to check out this post on Styled Shoots – just so you’re aware how the photographer will differ from a real wedding day.
